Hugh Davidson
Hugh Davidson executive produces, writes and stars "Nobodies," which he co-created with his fellow Groundlings alums, Rachel Ramras and Larry Dorf ("Mike Tyson Mysteries"). The series is inspired by the real lives of Davidson, Ramras and Dorf, who watched as their friends from The Groundlings went on to star in blockbuster comedies and even win Oscars, while they were waiting for their one big break. Davidson, Ramras and Dorf partnered with their real-life friends, Emmy® winner Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, who executive produce "Nobodies" through their production company, On the Day. Michael McDonald ("MADtv") serves as executive producer, director and showrunner.
Davidson is also a producer and writer for the hit animated series "Mike Tyson Mysteries," which is on Adult Swim. Previously, he produced and wrote "The Looney Tunes Show" for Cartoon Network, and he was (and occasionally still is) a writer and voice actor for the popular Adult Swim series "Robot Chicken." Davidson was a main company member of The Groundlings Theatre.
Davidson is also a producer and writer for the hit animated series "Mike Tyson Mysteries," which is on Adult Swim. Larry Dorf
Larry Dorf executive produces, writes and stars in "Nobodies," which he co-created with his fellow Groundlings alums, Rachel Ramras and Hugh Davidson ("Mike Tyson Mysteries"). The series is inspired by the real lives of Dorf, Ramras and Davidson, who watched as their friends from The Groundlings went on to star in blockbuster comedies and even win Oscars, while they were waiting for their one big break. Dorf, Ramras and Davidson have partnered with their real-life friends, Emmy® winner Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, who executive produce "Nobodies" through their production company On the Day. Prior to "Nobodies," Dorf was best known for his work on the animated series "Mike Tyson Mysteries" and "The Looney Tunes Show," which he also worked on with Davidson and Ramras. His acting credits include Security Guard Kenny in "The Boss," as well as guest starring roles on "Grace and Frankie," "Bones" and "Weeds."
Dorf was a main company member of The Groundlings Theatre from 2003 to 2010. It was there that he met fellow Groundlings McCarthy, Falcone, Ramras, Davidson and McDonald. During his tenure, he also taught improv classes through The Groundlings School, where he met his wife in 2006; he was her teacher. Dorf retired from the main company in 2010 after the birth of his first child, Charlie, as he was too tired to stay up late doing shows anymore.
Rachel Ramras
Rachel Ramras executive produces, writes and stars in "Nobodies," which she co-created with her fellow Groundlings alums Hugh Davidson and Larry Dorf ("Mike Tyson Mysteries"). Ramras has written for "Mike Tyson Mysteries" on Adult Swim, for which she also voices Mike Tyson's daughter Yung Hee. In addition to co-writing "The Looney Tunes" direct-to-video film "Rabbit's Run" for Warner Bros. Animation and voicing Lola Bunny, she was a producer on the hit Cartoon Network animated series "The Looney Tunes Show." Ramras was also a writer on "Frank TV" and "Cedric the Entertainer Presents." She was a main company member of The Groundlings Theatre.
