TV LAND "WIN YOUR OWN THEME SONG" SWEEPSTAKES
(The "Sweepstakes")
OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Void in AK, HI and Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. All entries become property of Sponsors. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the continental United States who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry. Sweepstakes not open to employees or the immediate family members of individuals employed by MTV Networks, it's parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, cable affiliates, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies, RPMC, Inc., printing agents or any other sponsors (collectively "Sponsors").

2. Sweepstakes commences 12:01 a.m. (ET) Aug 5, 2005 and ends 12:01 a.m. (ET) Sept 4, 2005 ("Promotional Period").

3. TO ENTER
Via Online: Complete the Sweepstakes registration form available at the website www.tvland.com during the Promotional Period. Use of a profane username or the submission of false or misleading personal information by an entrant will be grounds for disqualification. Sponsors retain sole discretion to determine whether entry information is profane, false, or misleading.

Entrants must complete all required data. Limit one entry per person. All Incomplete or inaccurate entries shall be rendered void. Sponsors are not responsible for entries that may be lost, delayed or misdirected, or for typographical errors in the entry form or rules. Collection and use of personally identifiable information will be in accordance with the tvland.com Privacy Policy as posted on tvland.com. All online entries must be received at www.tvland.com by 12:01 a.m. (ET) Sept. 4, 2005.

4. The concept of the Sweepstakes is as follows: Winner will be selected by RPMC, Inc., an independent judging organization, in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about September 5-9, 2005. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) prize per individual/household. Winner will be notified via phone on or before Sept. 12th, 2005.

5. The prize(ing) is as follows:
Grand Prize (1): Winner will receive a personalized, original, family theme song created by songwriter Vic Mizzy. Winner will be required to provide biographical and family information to Sponsor to be used by Mr. Mizzy in creating the song. All rights to the song (including but not limited to all performance rights, publishing rights and copyrights) shall be retained by Vic Mizzy and none are granted to the winner as part of the prize. Winner may use the recording of the song provided to winner for personal use only and not for commercial purposes. The Grand Prize has no approximate retail value.
Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize is: N/A. Promotional value only.

6. Winner Notification and Qualification:
Potential Winner: During the 72-hour period following the drawing, Sponsors will attempt to contact the Winner via telephone. No messages will be left on machines. If the Winner cannot be reached within said 72-hour period, Winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected at random from among all of the remaining eligible entries. In order for Winner to be deemed the Official Winner, he or she will be required to sign an affidavit: (i) releasing Sponsors from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with this Sweepstakes, or the use or acceptance of the prizes or any portion thereof to be eligible for the Prize; (ii) where permitted by law, granting Sponsors the right to use his or her name, voice and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation; (iii) acknowledging that all rights to the song (including but not limited to all performance rights, publishing rights and copyrights) shall be retained by Vic Mizzy and that none are granted to the winner as part of the prize; (iv) acknowledging that the Winner may use the recording of the song for personal use only and not for commercial purposes; and (v) confirming the Winner's eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules. Such documents must be signed by the potential Grand Prize Winner and returned to Sponsor's agent within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to comply with such requirements will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be randomly selected instead. Prize will not be awarded until such requirements are met.

Upon receipt of the Prize, the Official Winner is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. The value of the Prize is taxable as income and Official Winner is solely responsible for all matters relating to the Prize, including, but not limited to, all applicable federal, state and local taxes that become due with respect to the Prize. In the event, (i) the Winner chooses not to accept his/her prize, (ii) does not comply with these Official Rules, or (iii) Sponsors are unable to contact such winner or notification of prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner randomly selected from all of the remaining entries.

7. By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. Sponsors are not responsible for entries that are illegible, incomplete, lost, delayed, mutilated and misdirected, or for typographical errors in the rules or any problems or technical malfunctions, human error, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of entrants on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site or any combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials contained in this Sweepstakes. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated or cancelled prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the website, and any entries received prior to the termination or cancellation will be included in the drawing. Entries that have been tampered with or altered will be deemed void. In the event of a dispute over who submitted the winning entry, the holder of the winning email address will be declared the Winner. The use of any system or agent to submit entries in connection with this Sweepstakes is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

8. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned except as herein described. Entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes Winner's agreement to sign any and all legal documents which Sponsors may require.

9. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and Sponsors, which are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

10. All interpretations of the rules and decisions by Sponsors are final. Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A SWEEPSTAKES ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS AND THEIR DESIGNEES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH SWEEPSTAKES ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
