Episode 134 - EXTRA, EXTRA Janet's dating
a reporter who tells her he wants to write a piece about the
trio's living situation emphasizing the financial benefits
of it, but what ends up in the paper is more about titillation
than economics.
Episode 135 - JACK GETS HIS In a case of
look before you leap, Jack eagerly accepts an offer to be
a chef at one of Angelino's restaurants--seeing it as a gold
opportunity, that is until he actually sees the place.
Episode 136 - OPENING NIGHT A misprint of
flyers for the opening of Jack's Bistro leaves the place empty
on the big night, but Larry saves the day by bringing in his
Greek relatives.
Episode 137 - COUSIN, CUISINE As a favor
to Felipe, the trio take in his beautiful cousin Maria who
speaks little English and who mistakenly believes that Jack
intends to marry her.
Episode 138 - AN AFFAIR TO FORGET Trying
to play cupid, Janet sets Jack up with an old high school
friend who's in town. It's all great until Janet discovers
the woman is still married.
Episode 139 - THE BRUNCH In order to get
his liquor license, Jack needs to convince a local pastor
that his restaurant is a respectable place--too bad the customers
can't seem to behave.
Episode 140 - THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM Jack soon
finds that business and friendship don't mix when he hires
bungling Furley to work as a cook, and tone-deaf Larry as
a lounge singer.
Episode 141 - BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO Jack
and Janet have fixed Terri up with a guy they both like. It's
all going well until Furley discovers that he might be a murderer.
Episode 142 - LARRY'S SISTER Jack is the
only one Larry trusts to take his teenage sister out while
she's in town visiting. However, when they arrive home late,
everyone assumes Jack has taken advantage of her.
Episode 143 - BOB AND CAROL AND LARRY AND TERRI
Terri and Larry have to set things straight when a bit of
gossip gets so distorted that it leads married friends Bob
and Carol to consider divorce.
Episode 144 - GOING TO POT Jack wants to
catch a crooked building inspector who's looking for a bribe,
but the cops are more interested in the "pot" Furley thinks
he's found at the restaurant.
Episode 145 - STAR STRUCK When a soap star
with a reputation as a womanizer proposes to Terri on their
first date, Jack is dubious and does all he can to protect
his friend.
Episode 146 - JACK GOES THE DISTANCE Defending
Furley from a bully at the Regal Beagle, Jack agrees to settle
things in the ring-a boxing ring that is. He's confident about
the outcome until learning his opponent is a former boxing
champ.
Episode 147 - JACK'S DOUBLE DATE Jack bets
his roommates that he can quit women for a week. Too bad it's
single's night at the Beagle and he's agreed to accompany
Furley on a date.
Episode 148 - JANET'S LITTLE HELPER Janet's
teaching Furley's shy nephew how to be a gentleman with the
ladies, but Jack and Terri think she's robbing the cradle.
Episode 149 - THE APARTMENT Jack thinks he's
going to crash in the abandoned apartment over the restaurant,
until he walks in on Angelino there with his mistress.
Episode 150 - HAIR TODAY, GONE TOMORROW Jack
buys a fake mustache to improve his odds with women. And it
works a little too well when Terri falls for him.
Episode 151 - NAVY BLUES
A former Navy cook comes to town and tries to weasel his
way into Jack's restaurant by using his deserter past
as leverage.
Episode 152 - BORROWING TROUBLE Terri
and Janet fake a radio contest so Jack can win money they
think he needs for rent, and are outraged when he uses
the windfall (supplied by Furley) to buy a leather coat.
