About The Golden Girls
Dorothy, Blanche, Rose & Sophia are four young-at-heart housemates living together in Miami. Bright, promiscuous, clueless and hilarious, these lovely, mismatched ladies form the perfect circle of friends. The Golden Girls originally aired from 1985 1992 receiving critical acclaim throughout most of its run and winning several awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series twice and several Golden Globes. All four stars each received an Emmy Award throughout the series' run and have had multiple nominations. The series also ranked among the top ten highest-rated programs for six out of its seven seasons.
