Nicholle Tom

Margaret 'Maggie' Sheffield

Born to a family of young actors, Nicholle Tom moved to Los Angeles when she was 10. Like her twin brother David and sister Heather, Nicholle worked at an early age. After studying at The Young Actors Space, she landed the plum role as Charles GrodinÂ’s daughter in the first two Beethoven movies. She also played Sue Scanlon on four episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210, before parlaying a number of TV movie appearances into her role as Maggie Sheffield on The Nanny. Her later roles included co-starring with Neve Campbell and William H. Macy in the Sundance hit Panic, as well as a role in The Princess Diaries. For years she has been the voice of Supergirl on the animated Justice League, and also voiced her character Ryce in the animated version of Beethoven. In 2006, she co-starred in the IFC comedy The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman, and has made dramatic appearances on Cold Case, The Mentalist and Without a Trace. She appeared alongside her brother in Criminal Minds and with her sister in the comedy The Wedding Bells. Tom's performances in The Nanny as well as For My DaughterÂ’s Honor, Welcome to Paradox and the Beethoven movies earned her five Young Artist Award nominations and two YoungStar Award nominations. She is also an avid painter.

Character Bio

Maggie is the oldest of the Sheffield children. She and Fran bond immediately as she blossoms from a shy teenager into a beautiful young woman.
