By the time she portrayed the youngest of the Sheffield children on The Nanny, Madeline Zima was a show business veteran: She made her first appearance on a Downey commercial when she was 22 months old. Her film debut was in the thriller The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, followed by another adorable turn in the Hulk Hogan-starrer Mr. Nanny. After guest spots on Law & Order, JAG and Touched by an Angel, she landed the role of Grace Sheffield.As a young adult, she had regular roles on Californication and Heroes. In the intervening years, she has had a multi-faceted career, including appearances on The Gilmore Girls, Strong Medicine, Ghost Whisperer and Greys Anatomy, as well as films Legacy, The Collector and A Cinderella Story. In 2003, she played teen Lucille Ball in the TV movie Lucy. Madeline has been nominated for nine Young Artist Awards for her work. She and her younger sisters Vanessa and Yvonne all enjoy thriving acting careers.

Character Bio

Grace is the youngest and seemingly most troubled of the Sheffield children. Having been so young when her mother died, Grace sees Fran the Nanny as a maternal figure and is the most attached to her.
