Kelly Stables
Kelly Stables is best known for her recurring role on "Two and a Half Men" as the bubbly Melissa, Alan's (Jon Cryer) receptionist and on-again/off-again girlfriend. She recently starred in the ABC sitcom "Romantically Challenged" playing the kindergarten teacher and "sexpert" little sister to Alyssa Milano. In TV Land's upcoming sitcom, "The Exes", which debuts on the network November 30th at 10:30PM/9:30C, Kelly plays Eden, the hard-partying, slightly scatterbrained yet loveable assistant to divorce attorney Holly (Kristen Johnston).Stables recurred for three seasons on "Greek," will guest star in the upcoming season of HBO's "Hung" and was the voice of Will on the animated series "W.I.T.C.H." Her other television guest star credits include "Bones," "Mad Love," "'Til Death," "Cavemen" and "Life." On the silver screen, Stables has played a wide spectrum of characters, from the Evil Samara in "The Ring Two" opposite Naomi Watts to a Christmas-obsessed secret elf in "Santa Baby 2." She also starred in a number of independent films including the British thriller "Telling Lies," "Together Again For The First Time" for Lifetime, "Pride and Prejudice" for Showtime and "Dragon Hunter" for SyFy. Her supernatural web series "Soul Fire Rising," which Stables co-produces and stars in, will be distributed this fall through STARZ Digital Media. Stables continues to maintain a presence in local Los Angeles theatre, having performed in over two dozen plays and musical productions. She portrayed Marion "Daisy" Davies in the world premiere musical "W.R. and Daisy" at Theatre West, Wendy in "Peter Pan" at the Fred Kavli Theatre, Tip Toes in "Tip Toes" at The Whitefire Theatre and, most recently, Cindy Brady in the world premiere musical "A Very Brady Musical," which Stables also choreographed. Stables was born and raised in St. Louis and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri. She enjoys Cardinals baseball, baking and competitive board-gaming.
