Debra Jo Rupp was born in 1951 and grew up in Boxford, Massachusetts. In the 1980s, she landed her first role in television in
All My Children. In 1988 she appeared in her first film role, in
Big, starring Tom Hanks. Her other films include

The Jeff Foxworthy Show in 1995, and in
Friends in 1997. Following Friends, she signed on to
That 70s Show in 1998, and appeared in all 8 seasons. She also starred in
Better With You (2010).
