Charlie
Robinson was born on November 9, 1945 in Houston, Texas and
has been performing since the sixties. Robinson's impressive
list of credits includes appearances in The White Shadow,
Flamingo Road, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Touched
by an Angel and Antwone Fisher. Robinson was cast
in the role of Newdell on the NBC comedy Buffalo Bill.
Not the smash hit it was expected to be, Buffalo Bill
was cancelled after one season and replaced by Night Court.
Robinson was cast as Court Clerk Mac Robinson after the first
season, and played the role until Night Court bowed in
1992. Robinson played recurring character Bud Harper on Home
Improvement, and continues to work on shows including The
Bernie Mac Show, My Wife and Kids, Soul Food
and Charmed. |
