Born
January 13, 1943 in Pasadena, California, Richard Moll made
a big impact from a very early age. Six feet tall at twelve
years old, he didn't stop growing until he reached an astounding
6'8". Moll learned to make his massive size work to his benefit.
From playing Abraham Lincoln at a variety of schools to traveling
with different theatrical troupes, Moll settled into the television
arena by playing a variety of monsters and freaks of nature.
He played one such character in the 1972 television movie Gargoyles.
He went on to play his share of colossal figures in a score
of films including Caveman (1981), Metalstorm
(1982) and The Sword and the Sorcerer (1984). He moved
away from the monster genre when he landed the role of the intimidating
yet loveable Court Bailiff Bull Shannon on Night Court.
After the show was cancelled in 1992, Moll went on to guest
star in a variety of shows including 7th Heaven, Babylon
5, 227, Baywatch and is currently the voice of Harvey
Dent, aka Two-Face, in Batman: The Animated Series. |
