Created
in a German laboratory by Dr. Victor Frankenstein, Herman was
the mad scientist's first creation to have a civilized personality
rather than a barbaric one. Although he spent his childhood
in three separate jars and is 150 years old, Herman displays
the childlike innocence, enthusiasm and intellect of an average
fourth-grader. In spite of his immaturity, Herman possesses
deep wisdom that he regularly imparts on his son Eddie.
Herman works as a gravedigger for the Gateman, Goodbury
and Graves Funeral Parlor. Although he tries hard to be an
upstanding citizen, his wife Lily often worries that his irresistible
good looks will tempt him into two-timing her.
Seven feet three inches tall and weighing three spins on
the bathroom scale, Herman has a habit of destroying furniture,
walls and mantelpieces in his cobwebbed house. But the damage
is so swiftly repaired by the prop manager that it really
doesn't make any difference. |
