Butch
Patrick will always be best remembered as The Munsters'
wolf-boy, Eddie. Butch began his career at eight years old in
the 1961 film The Two Bears. As a child actor, he guest-starred
in several TV series, including The Monkees, Gunsmoke, I
Dream of Jeannie, My Three Sons and Marcus Welby, M.D.
As a teenager, Butch starred in the Saturday morning Krofft
series, Lidsville.
In 1983, Butch released a single called "What Ever Happened
to Eddie" with his rock band, Eddie and the Monsters. The
video got some airplay, and was the impetus for MTV's The
Basement Tapes, a showcase for unsigned bands. More recently,
he played himself in a guest spot on The Simpsons.
Today, Butch lives in Odessa, Florida, and appears at numerous
collectors' shows throughout the year. But naturally, he's
is always most in demand around Halloween. |
