145-Commander Pierce
In his absence, Colonel Potter leaves Hawkeye in charge of the 4077th. From boring paperwork to griping doctors to split second life and death choices, Hawkeye is unprepared for the demands of the job.

146-Peace On Us
Not everything in the 4077th is about scalpels and stitches. While the 4077th does its daily duty, peace talks have stalled. The ever-impulsive Hawkeye reaches a boiling point and bolts off to crash the meetings to implore those who are running the war to call it off.

147- Lil
Radar is upset when it seems that Colonel Potter may be falling in love with Colonel "Lil" Rayburn. The Eighth Army head nurse visits the 4077th and discovers a connection with Col. Potter. Radar, being the sensitive type, worries that his leader may be led astray.

148-Our Finest Hour
Newscaster Clete Roberts is on a tour of Korea. His mission? Gauge the morale of the troops, and find the truth about the progress of the war in Korea. He interviews the members of the 4077th. This two part episode is shot in black and white in order to mimic a 1950's news broadcast.

149-The Billfold Syndrome
After being rejected for a medical position back in the States, Charles is so distraught that he decides to give the whole 4077th the silent treatment. Hawkeye and B.J. fake a telegram from back home which softens the blow. Meanwhile, Maj. Sidney Freedman tries to help a young medic suffering from amnesia.

150- None Like it Hot
To beat the heat, Hawkeye and B.J. secretly import a collapsible bathtub. They try to keep it under wraps, but word gets out and soon members of the 4077th are lined up around the block just to get a dip. Also, Klinger concocts a new plan to get himself discharged and sent home.

151-They Call the Wind Korea
The 4077th braces itself for a monster windstorm. Charles, about to go on leave to Tokyo, is forced to go to Seoul by ground instead of by air. This leads him directly into a harrowing medical emergency.

152-Major Ego
Charles' ego, naturally large, inflates to epic size after a photojournalist sent by the military newspaper Stars and Stripes comes to the 4077th to profile him. The story? Charles saved a dying GI by massaging his heart.

153-Baby, It's Cold Outside
The 4077th is feeling the effects of a bitter cold spell. Military issue winter-wear just doesn't cut it, especially when Charles keeps prancing about the camp in a winterized polar suit his Mommy and Daddy sent him. Charles might be warm, but he's getting the cold shoulder from the rest of the gang.

154-Point of View
Shot entirely from the perspective of a severely wounded GI, this is a landmark episode. We see what the soldier sees as he is choppered to the 4077th from the field, meets Hawkeye, scribbles his fears onto notepaper, goes into surgery, and awakens in post-op.

155-Dear Comrade
Charles's nonstop demands don't stop his houseboy from spying on the 4077th. Sent from North Korea to infiltrate the camp, Kwang is so busy catering to Charles's every whim, he barely has time to report back to his superiors. Meanwhile, a nasty rash has all the doctor's stumped.

156-Out of Gas
The 4077th is reeling as heavy fighting floods the camp with patients. So overtaxed is the M*A*S*H unit that they are nearly out of Pentothal, used to anesthetize injured GI's. As the situation reaches critical proportions, Father Mulcahy and Charles take matters into their own hands.

157- An Eye for a Tooth
Father Mulcahy reacts serenely when he learns that he has not been promoted, but once he learns a certain heroic helicopter pilot who has risen through the ranks; he becomes determined to advance by putting himself at the center of the action. Hilarity and heroism ensue.

158-Dear Sis
As the holidays approach, the mood at the 4077th darkens. Father Mulcahy faces a crisis. He wonders if he is fulfilling his duty to God and country. However, his generosity is felt by the entire camp.

159-B.J. Papa San
From the moment he arrived in camp, B.J. has talked nonstop about how much he misses his family back home. So it's no surprise that he begins to feel attached to a Korean family he has befriended. As his involvement with the family deepens, his attention to his duties at the 4077th suffers.

160-Inga
When Dr. Inga Halverson strolls into camp, Hawkeye's jaw hits the floor. Swedish and voluptuous, Inga also happens to be one heck of a surgeon, as she shows by stepping in and taking over for Hawkeye mid-operation.

161- The Price
A horse is lost, a boy is found. Col. Potter's mare has vanished inexplicably from her corral, and a young Korean boy begs Hawkeye and B.J. to help keep him out of the army.

162- The Young and Restless
Capt. Simmons, young surgeon, visits the 4077th to lecture on the latest in surgical technique. His prowess so intimidates the gang that Charles hits the sauce, Potter takes to his bed, and B.J. becomes obsessed with re-reading old medical journals.

Factoid: M*A*S*H Writer Mitch Markowitz went on to pen the movie Good Morning, Vietnam.

163- Hot Lips is Back in Town
Margaret's long anticipated divorce has finally been completed! Her celebration involves a new operating room regime which gets Col. Potter's goat. Meanwhile, a new nurse catches Radar's fancy.

164-C*A*V*E
U.S. troops are strafing a nearby Chinese military target. Already cramped, the 4077th is forced to evacuate and relocate to a tiny nearby cave. The situation gets more complicated as Hawkeye reluctantly admits that he is severely claustrophobic.

165-Rally Round the Flagg, Boys
After Hawkeye brings a North Korean soldier back from the brink of death, Lt. Col. Flagg is certain he is spying for the enemy. Sensing a dastardly Communist plot, he forces Maj. Winchester to go undercover to spy on the spy.

166-Preventive Medicine
The 4077th is swamped with injured GIs thanks to the reckless Col. Lacy. His disregard for human life forces Hawkeye to take matters into his own hands. Slipping Lacy a mickey to mimic the symptoms of appendicitis, Hawkeye performs an unnecessary appendectomy. B.J. is outraged. On a lighter note, Klinger pretends he has become a voodoo priest so he can go home to Toledo.

167-A Night at Rosie's
One by one the staff of the 4077th stroll into Rosie's and refuse to report back to work, claiming they are citizens of Rosieland. Finally, choppers with new wounded arrive and compassion leads them back to the operating room.

168-Ain't Love Grand
Love is in the air at the 4077th as both Klinger and Charles are struck by Cupid's bow. A visiting nurse falls for Klinger and his full-frontal neuroses, and Charles crosses cultural lines to connect with Sooni, a Korean prostitute. Bittersweet meetings abound while B.J. and Hawkeye annoy each other to no end.

169-The Party
As the gang looks ahead to a stateside post war reunion, B.J. becomes obsessed with bringing the families of the 4077th together. A date is chosen, a party planned. Klinger reveals that he'd told his Mom he was stationed in New Jersey, not Korea, so that she wouldn't worry about him.
