73-Welcome to Korea - Parts 1 & 2
A bomb drops directly on the camp: Trapper John has been discharged. Hawkeye returns from his R&R and finds out that his best friend, his closest ally, his partner in crime is gone. He meets his new replacement, B.J. Hunnicutt. They immediately get sloppy drunk and are new best buddies.

74-Change of Command
The camp is still adjusting to the departure of Trapper, the arrival of Hunnicutt and the ascension of Burns, when another bomb drops: the 4077th is getting a new commander. Col. Sherman T. Potter arrives.

75-It Happened One Night
The 4077th is gripped by freezing temperatures and threatened by an artillery barrage. The O.R. is upset by a patient who just won't get better, and Frank is upset that he can't find his love letters in Hot Lips' tent.

76 -The Late Captain Pierce
Capt. Pierce is dead. At least on paper. Due to a clerical error, Hawkeye's father is told that his son has died. Hawkeye finds it ridiculously difficult to set the record straight.

77-Hey Doc
Hawkeye and B.J. plan to assist a friend who wants to open a Korean restaurant. Frank refuses to go along, but a bizarre tank accident changes his mind.

78-The Bus
Hawkeye, B.J., Potter and Burns return from a medical conference in a bus driven by Radar. First they get lost, then the bus stalls. Worse yet, a North Korean soldier finds them - stranded like sitting ducks.

79 -Dear Mildred
Potter writes home to wish his wife a happy 27th anniversary, Frank and Hot Lips commission a wood carving as a gift for him, but Radar comes up with the perfect gift.

Factoid: The picture of Mildred Potter that ubiquitously rests on the corner of Col. Potter's desk is actually a portrait of actress Verna Felton, Harry Morgan's co-star in the sitcom December Bride. The sitcom was set at around the time of the Korean War.

80- The Kids
The 4077th welcomes Korean orphans who were made homeless by a shelling attack. One of the girls is pregnant and suffering from a bullet wound. Frank accuses a child of stealing his precious Purple Heart.

81-Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler
A wounded officer claims to be Jesus Christ. Radar asks the purported savior to bless his teddy bear.

Factoid: The Latin phrase in this episode's title, Quo Vadis, literally translates as "Where are you going?"

82-Dear Peggy
B.J. writes home to tell his wife about life at the 4077th, including Klinger's antics, Frank's foul-ups, and the story of a visiting chaplain.

83-Of Moose and Men
A colonel wants Hawkeye disciplined for being disrespectful - despite the fact that Hawkeye saved his life. B.J.'s friend finds out that his wife is unfaithful. Frank genuinely believes that all Koreans are concealing bombs.

84- Soldier of the Month
Frank catches a fever and prepares for the worst: in his last will and testament, he leaves all his money to his wife. And all his clothes to Hot Lips.

85-The Gun
The vintage revolver of a wounded officer is stolen from the camp's gun locker and Radar is accused as the thief. Hawkeye and Pierce figure out that Frank has stolen the Colt .45 and fool him into giving it back. While returning the gun, Frank shoots himself in the foot.

86-Mail Call, Again
Colonel Potter gets great news: he's going to become a grandpa. Frank gets bad news: he's going to be an ex-husband. His wife reveals that she knows all about Margaret.

Factoid: In this episode Gary Burghoff not only portrayed Radar - he also played Radar's mother.

87-The Price of Tomato Juice
Radar, Hawkeye and B.J. plot, scheme and strategize to score the contraband that Col. Potter craves - tomato juice.

Factoid: In many episodes, Potter is seen painting portraits. Harry Morgan actually did those paintings.

88- Dear Ma
Radar writes mom, Hawkeye inspects feet, and Colonel Potter catches shrapnel on his Southside.

89-Der Tag
At Colonel Potter's request, Hawkeye and B.J. are friendlier toward Frank while Hot Lips is on leave. They even invite Frank for drinks. But old habits die hard: when Frank passes out, Hawkeye and B.J. put a toe tag on him, which is funny until Frank is really shipped to the front lines.

90-Hawkeye
Hawkeye injures his head in a jeep accident. A family finds him and takes him into their care. He knows how dangerous it can be to fall asleep with a concussion, so he talks to the family non-stop in order to stay awake. Here's the thing: the Korean brood doesn't speak a word of English.

Factoid: William Jurgensen's cinematography for this episode earned an Emmy nomination.

91-Some 38th Parallels
Concocting yet another mix of xenophobia and paranoia, Frank is worried that the Koreans are stealing the camp's garbage. So he decides to sell it. Hawkeye is facing an impotency crisis.

92-The Novocaine Mutiny
When Potter is away and Frank is in charge, Hawkeye faces charges of mutiny.

Factoid: Harry Morgan, who played Col. Potter, directed this episode.

93-Smilin' Jack
A helicopter pilot wants to get back to fighting despite his failing health. Meanwhile, a GI who won Purple Hearts by nearly losing his life on two occasions has had enough of the bloodbath.

Factoid: This is the first episode directed by Charles S. Dubin. He went on to direct 43 more.

94- The More I See You
You know that one true love who never leaves your heart? Hawkeye does. Unfortunately for him, she's out of his life forever - or so he thought. In this episode, they are reunited. Turns out, she's married.

Factoid: Guest star Blythe Danner, who plays Hawkeye's old flame, was married to director Bruce Paltrow and is the mother of actors Gwyneth and Jake Paltrow.

95-Deluge
The 4077th is hit by a fire in the laundry, a rainstorm in the camp, and a flood of wounded in the O.R.

96-The Interview
A real-life reporter, Clete Roberts, visits the 4077th to interview the characters about the war for a documentary. Like the fictitious doc, this entire episode is filmed in black and white.

Factoid: This was the farewell episode of series co-creator, prolific writer and distinguished director Larry Gelbart.
