236-Look Me Over
When the 4077th is forced to evacuate all on-duty nurses, the surgeons find themselves ill-equipped to handle situations usually handled by Margaret and her staff. To make matters worse, immediately after the nurses return, Col. Potter reluctantly informs Margaret that hard case Nurse Bucholtz will be conducting a surprise inspection.

237- Trick or Treatment
The 4077th throws a Halloween costume party. B.J. dresses as a clown, Klinger as a gangster, Margaret as a Geisha girl and Hawkeye as the Man of Steel. Charles meets the woman of his dreams, a Red Cross worker from France. When Charles finally understands the details of her provocative personal history, his feelings cool considerably. Meanwhile, B.J. and Hawkeye learn that the Army is strong-arming a North Korean fighter pilot in order to force him to defect. They can't resist getting involved.

239- Joker is Wild
B.J. bets that he can prank everyone in the camp within 24 hours. Hawkeye, determined to win the bet, secludes himself for the night, but B.J. claims victory after Hawkeye wakes up. The feud has ended. Or has it?

240-Who Knew?
When one of Hawkeye's former flames passes away, he is asked to give her eulogy. Hawkeye's eulogy urges everyone in the camp to cherish their remaining time together, always remembering to show how much they care for one another.

241-Bombshells
In a fit of boredom, Hawkeye and Charles decide to see just how gullible the 4077th can be. In a matter of minutes, they've got everyone buzzing about Marilyn Monroe paying the camp a visit. While the two rumor-mongers sit and chuckle, B.J. just wants to go fishing.

242-Settling Debts
Why would Col. Potter's wife Mildred write to Hawkeye Pierce? Hawkeye finds out when she reveals that she's finally made the last payment on their house. At her request, Hawkeye and the rest of the 4077th secretly plan a surprise party to help Col. Potter celebrate this momentous occasion.

243-The Moon is Not Blue
Hawkeye and the rest of the 4077th have had it with the boring entertainment, the no-booze rule, the heat wave, and the terrible shortage of medical supplies. What better way to raise morale than by showing a controversial sexy new movie? A fevered quest for the film The Moon is Blue ensues, with hilarious results.

244-Run for the Money
The 4077th is hoping a ringer will win an important foot-race for them against the rival 8063rd. But the Olympic marathon runner is a no-show, so Father Mulcahy has to strap on the running shoes and go for the gold. Charles witnesses a cruel Captain belittle a stuttering soldier, and is reminded of his sister who suffers from a speech impediment.

245-U.N., the Night and the Music
The 4077th is visited by a touring UN delegation. The diverse group comprises a British citizen, a Swede and a Hindu. As they get to know the group, their presence brings a sense that peace and unity might be possible after all. And the delegation is struck by the compassion and dedication and humor they find in such a stressful environment.

246-Strange Bedfellows
Charles has always been a windbag, but when his snoring threatens to keep half of Korea awake, something's got to be done. Of course, B.J. and Hawkeye are trapped in The Swamp with him, so it falls to them to silence the fog horn in the next bunk. Col. Potter is losing sleep too, he learns that his son-in-law has broken his vows, and Col. Potter's daughter's heart.

248-Friends and Enemies
Col. Potter faces a moral quandary when an old Army buddy arrives at the 4077th. As they reminisce, it becomes clear that the man is not who he once was. His faculties fading, the ailing Sergeant desperately clings to his power. But Col. Potter suspects that his mental state has cost many young men their lives. Should he end the career of an old friend?

Factoid: This is the only episode of M*A*S*H directed by Jamie Farr.

250-As Time Goes By
As Margaret and Hawkeye obsess over what to put inside a time capsule to commemorate their wartime experience, Klinger's life takes an unlikely turn. He falls deeply in love with Soon-Li, a local woman who is desperately searching for her parents. B.J. and Rizzo get their hands on a fake hand grenade and try to have a little fun with it!

Factoid: This episode was dedicated to the memory of the late Connie Izay M.D., who was technical supervisor of the series from 1977-82 and played various nurses from 1979-81.

251-Goodbye, Farewell and Amen
The end of the war looms over everyone like a bittersweet prize. Hawkeye has suffered a nervous breakdown after an R&R leave, and is in a psychiatric hospital. Charles has gotten a plum position at a Boston hospital but doesn't want to take it because Margaret helped him get it. Klinger tries to help his beloved Soon-Li find her missing parents. Father Mulcahy suffers a freak accident and finds a new calling. B.J. steadfastly refuses to say good-bye to anyone during a frantic farewell party.
