Wayne Rogers
Wayne Rogers was first introduced to theater during his stint in the Navy. He decided to try his hand at the craft after his discharge. He appeared in off-Broadway, regional plays and briefly on the daytime soap The Edge of Night before finding some success in film with small roles in Odds Against Tomorrow, The Glory Guys and Cool Hand Luke. He eventually won a co-starring role in the short-lived western TV series Stagecoach West. His most famous role was that of Captain "Trapper" John McIntyre on M*A*S*H. The role defined his career. However this role was short-lived. After three seasons Rogers decided to leave the show. Since leaving the show, Rogers has continued to act , starring in City of Angels, House Calls and High Risk but none to match the success of M*A*S*H. He also turned down the lead role in the TV series Trapper John, M.D. Rogers found an extremely successful second career in investments -- something he first discovered a knack for while still in acting school. He is the founder of investment strategist firm Wayne Rogers & Co.
