Together (part 1)
Difficulties in Walnut Grove lead the Ingalls family to move to Winoka, where
Charles can get work and they will be closer to Mary, who is teaching at a
school for the blind. The Olesons and the Garveys also move. Laura meets a
thieving orphan named Albert, whom Charles takes a liking to. (This episode is

Episode #91 - As Long as We're Together (part 2)
it’s Mary’s birthday, and Charles sells his fiddle to give her a special gift. Mary
has a surprise for Charles too, while Laura gives Mary a card she wrote in

A young blind student gains confidence by playing football and helping the

Episode #93 - The Man Inside
Laura's classmate Amelia is embarrassed by her grossly overweight father. Despite
the man’s kindness and decency, she denies even being related to him. Not
wanting to bring more shame upon his daughter, Amelia’s father tells his wife
he’s traveling on business and moves into the school for the blind. (This

Episode #94 - There's No Place Like Home (part 1)
Toby Noe wins $5,000 in a lottery and buys the children a cartload of
fireworks. Finally realizing that city life is not for them, the Olesons,
Ingalls family and Garveys decide to return to Walnut Grove. Albert Quinn, an
orphan befriended by Charles, returns with the Ingalls family. (This episode is

Episode #95 - There's No Place Like Home (part 2)
The Ingallses, Olesons and Garveys reach Walnut Grove and find the town rundown
and dilapidated. Everyone pitches in and helps rebuild the town to its old

Episode #96 - Fagin
Jealous of the newfound bond between Charles and Albert, Laura feels like an
outcast. When Albert overhears Charles and Caroline talking about Laura's

Episode #97 - Harriet's Happenings
Mrs. Oleson's cousin starts a newspaper and Mrs. Oleson finds her calling –
gossip columnist. When her rumor mongering gets out of control, Charles takes

Episode #98 - The Wedding
Mary accepts Adam's proposal of marriage but has second thoughts when she
begins to doubt her ability to take care of a child. Her faith is restored when
she and Adam rescue a blind child who gets lost in a dust storm. (This episode

Episode #99 - Men Will Be Boys
Charles’s son, Albert, and Jonathan Garvey’s son, Andy, decide to take a trip
to Sleepy Eye alone. Charles and Jonathan agree that the boys are old enough,
but decide to secretly follow behind to keep an eye on them. The boys do just
fine, but Charles and Jonathan get themselves into a few scrapes! (This episode

Episode #100 - The Cheaters
Nellie is hired to tutor Andy Garvey. She shows him her method for getting good
grades, but when Andy's mother discovers that he and Nellie are cheating, she

Episode #101 - Blind Journey (part 1)
Joe Kagan becomes the first black person to join the congregation in Walnut
Grove, something to which Mrs. Oleson is stridently opposed. When the school
for the blind is forced to close, Charles and Joe lead the blind students to a
new school Walnut Grove has decided to open. Harriet joins them, having learned
that they will be joined by additional blind students and their sighted teacher,
Hester-Sue Terhune. Harriet believes the name Terhune is very prominent and anticipates

Episode #102 - Blind Journey (part 2)
Mrs. Oleson meets Hester-Sue Terhune and is shocked and disappointed to
discover that she--and her students--are black. Hester-Sue and her students
join the group traveling from the school for the blind and they continue on to

Episode #103 - The Godsister
Charles is away for an extended time on a job. During his absence, young Carrie
is lonely for her father and decides to dream up an imaginary friend to keep

Albert becomes the apprentice of Isaac, an old Jewish man, and his classmates
berate him and beat him up, calling him a Jew-lover. (This episode is listed on

A young boy is desperate to prevent his parents from getting a divorce and

Episode #106 - Dance with Me
Laura and Albert play matchmakers for the town dance and Toby Noe makes another

Episode #107 - The Sound of Children
Mary finds out that she's pregnant with her first child, and she and Adam contemplate

Mrs. Oleson forecloses on the lakefront property of Kezia, and she, Nellie and
Willie cause no end of grief for an elderly recluse who lives there. Laura,
Andy and Albert concoct a scheme to get even with the Olesons and claim a

Episode #109 - Barn Burner
A racist farmer creates havoc for all farmers by selling wheat for an unfair
price hoping the high price will prevent black farmers from purchasing the
wheat. The chaos spins out of control after an assault and barn burning occurs.

Episode #110 - Enchanted Cottage
Mary thinks she is regaining her eyesight when she is able to tell the difference
between light and dark. Albert and Laura fix up Mr. Edwards’s old home so Mary

Episode #111 - Someone Please Love Me
Charles stays with a family while looking for some horses to purchase. Things
are not well between the husband and wife, but Charles helps to keep the family

Episode #112 - Mortal Mission
Walnut Grove is infected with anthrax, the result of tainted meat. Charles and
Mr. Garvey are robbed when they are returning to the town with medicine, and
must convince the crazed thief to return the supplies to them. Laura goes

Albert and Laura help their friend Dylan, who is dying from leukemia, achieve
