Jason Alexander is an Emmy nominated and Tony winning actor best known for his role as George Costanza on 'Seinfeld', where he stars alongside 'Kirstie''Kirstie' star Michael Richards and Wayne Knight of 'The Exes'. He guest stars as the manager of Maddie Banks (Kirstie Alley) on 'Kirstie', TV Lands new comedy.
Born Jay Scott Greenspan, Alexander is a practiced magician who began his career on Broadway with roles in musicals including "Merrily We Roll Along," "The Rink," "Broadway Bound," and "Jerome Robbins Broadway," for which he won the 1989 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. After roles in two sitcoms that never made it past their first season, 'E/R' and 'Everythings Relative', Alexander landed the role of George Costanza on 'Seinfeld', a role that would score him seven Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and win him four Screen Actors Guild Awards. Other television credits include guest spots on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', 'Malcolm in the Middle', 'The New Adventures of Old Christine', 'Harrys Law', 'Community' and 'Two and a Half Men'. Alexander has also worked extensively in film, appearing in movies including "Pretty Woman," "North," "White Palace," "Love! Valour! Compassion!," "Coneheads," "Shallow Hal" and "Ira and Abby." He has recently turned his attention to directing, working on episodes of 'Everybody Hates Chris', Til Death' and 'Mike and Molly'.
