Kevin James is not just the
King of Queens, he's also a king of comedy. His career began on the comedy circuit, which he participated in for 11 years. He then worked his way on to Star Search, Tonight Show with Jay Leno and got his big break with an appearance in the 1996 Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival. /Famous TV credits include

Everybody Loves Raymond. In all three series he appeared as the same character, Doug Heffernan. He also wrote for one episode of Ray Romano's hit show.Much of Doug's backstory mirrors James' personal life.
