Actor, producer and writer, Jerry Stiller, born Gerard Isaac Stiller, started his career in the 1940s. During his time in showbiz he has been in many famous productions including The Ed Sullivan Show (1948) the original Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974), The Love Boat, Saturday Night Live (1987), Hairspray (1988 and 2007), Murder She Wrote, Law & Order (1996 - 1997), Seinfeld, Zoolander, Sex and the City, Lion King 1∏ and King of Queens. Stiller has had the ability to continually revitalize is comedy career. From being at the top of the comedy charts in the 1960s to a nine-year run on modern hit classic King of Queens, Stiller has done well to remain relevant and fresh during his career of 60+ years. Like other King of Queens cast members, he also has ties to New York City. He studied drama at HB studio in Greenwich Village. He is also the father of Ben and Amy Stiller.
