7 - The Experiment
To prove that good looking people get all the breaks, Maya suggests sending two men, one handsome but stupid and the other well-qualified but homely, to apply for the same job. Meanwhile, as Jack struggles to assemble a toy for his baby daughter, Elliott enlists Nina in a practical joke on Finch.

Jack is determined to get his young daughter into a prestigious school, where Maya attended and burned down one of the buildings. Finch is the odd man out when Nina and Elliott bond over

15 - "Jesus, It's Christmas"
With greed running rampant at the office, Maya suggests that everyone pool their Christmas present money and give it to Jesus Santos, the building's night janitor. The gift leads to his falling in love with Maya and buying her lavish gifts. Meanwhile, Finch attempts to get Elliott to invite him along for a swimsuit shoot.

16 - Elliott the Geek
Elliott vows to use a high school teacher's funeral to prove to his old classmates that he is no longer a nerd, while Jack gives Finch lessons on how to intimidate the staff.

17 - Sewer!
Upon learning that a college roommate who is now a well known Middle East correspondent is coming to town, Maya is anxious to prove that she's a hard hitting journalist, too. 18 - In the Company of Maya
When Maya develops a crush on a freelance writer, Nina's advice leads to a sexual harassment lawsuit. Elliott's new girlfriend stars in an embarrassing television commercial.

Maya mentors a college student, who decides to become a model. Meanwhile, Jack and Finch secretly team up as bridge partners. Guest Star: Ali Larter

23 - Nina's Bikini
Nina agrees to have an old bikini enshrined at a restaurant, while Finch challenges Maya to be more daring and Elliott reluctantly agrees to take some sexy photos of Jack.

24 - The Kiss
Maya pretends to be Elliott's wife in order to help him get a new apartment, while Jack and Finch fight over a parking space.

25 - Bravefinch
Finch is threatened by Jack's new assistant. Meanwhile, as Nina decides to give up smoking, Maya mistakes one of her nicotine patches for a Band-Aid. While quitting cigarettes increases Nina's sexual appetite, the nicotine patch has a dramatic effect on Maya.

26 - Jack's Old Partner
While experiencing a block in writing his memoirs, Jack contacts the partner he dumped thirty years ago; Nina seeks Elliott's help with a tax auditor who flirts with Elliot. Guest Star: Tom Poston

27 - Amblushed
Maya is forced to defend the magazine during an seminar with some feminist college co-eds. Meanwhile, Nina seeks Elliott's help in reviving her modeling career. But after agreeing to be painted gold for her pictures, she's stunned when Elliott is out of the solvent to remove the paint. Finch continues to compile "Galloisms" for Jack's memoirs. 28 - The Emperor
Masquerading as Nina at a fashion event, Maya gets the magazine in trouble with her honest appraisal of a famous designer's new work. Meanwhile, Jack decides to help a reluctant Elliott get a date. Guest Stars: Dana Carvey, Michael McDonald

During an office blood drive, Maya and her colleagues recall the circumstances which led to Jack's hiring all of them - and rescuing them out of desperate situations.
