Character Bio

Elliott DiMauro is Blush magazine's in-house photographer. He considers himself to be a true artist. So, when the boss, Jack, tells him things such as "make sure the dandruff flakes really pop" in a photo, his frustration is visible.

Despite his looks, Elliot beds his fair share of models. He and Finch both vie for the attention of Elle Macpherson, Brooke Shields and Carmen Electra. Elliot's weakness for beautiful women nearly leads him down the aisle with a less-than-confident super model, played by Rebecca Romijn. (Finch eventually wins her hand in marriage!)

Elliot's flirtation with Maya Gallo over the years creates a "will they or won't they" type of tension. Elliot credits Maya as his longest lasting relationship due to the fact that they have never been intimate. However, he becomes irate when Maya agrees to do a nude self-portrait for a photography class. Their relationship almost takes them down the aisle, but each time they discuss marriage, they end up in the hospital emergency ward as Elliot faints at the notion and has several panic attacks.

Elliot is recognized for his work as photographer and eventually wins a coveted Femmy award. However, Jack Gallo decided to submit a photo that was not taken by Elliot, but instead by a primate on roller skates.
