Dylan Gelula stars as Gretchen Doyle alongside Jaime Pressly, Jessica Walter and Missi Pyle in the upcoming TV Land comedy series “Jennifer Falls,” set to premiere on Wednesday, June 4th at 10:30pm ET/PT. In the first-ever single camera comedy for TV Land, Gelula plays the daughter of Jennifer Doyle (Pressly), a former high-powered executive who has fallen from grace and hit every bump on the way down to rock bottom. Jennifer is forced to move back in with her meddling therapist mother (Walter) and take a job in the bar owned by her good-natured but often submissive brother (Ethan Suplee) and passive aggressive sister-in-law (Nora Kirkpatrick).
Dylan is a Philadelphia native who began her acting career at age ten in a featured role in M. Night Shymalan’s “Lady in the Water.” She has also starred in a few short films, including “Recycle Me” and “Lucy, 4:57 PM.” In 2011, she was cast in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play “August: Osage County.” In addition to starring in “Jennifer Falls,” Dylan will appear in the upcoming ABC Family drama series “Chasing Life,” set to premiere June 10th, in a heavily recurring role.
Dylan launched her TV career as a guest star on “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Are We There Yet?” and “NCIS.” She is passionate about fashion, writing and reading. She is vegan and loves dogs.
Dylan currently resides in Silverlake, CA.
Gretchen 16, entitled but reachable, she is Jennifer's energetic and complicated daughter, clearly bummed about leaving her old life and moving in with her grandmother. In fact, she'd rather have her friends think she died rather than know the truth. Wry-witted, Gretchen can be warm but she's often a challenge to her mom.
