156- The Separation (Part One)
The Jeffersons and the Willises are shocked to learn their children's marriage is in such a desperate state that Lionel is looking to sleep under a separate roof.

157- The Separation (Part Two)
George schemes to get Lionel to see a marriage counselor, hoping to end his son's separation from Jenny, but hardly expects the advice the counselor has to offer.

158- Louise's Father
George thinks the heroic man described in a newspaper story may be Louise's supposedly long-ago deceased father. He sets out to verify his suspicions, against Louise's wishes.

159- My Maid, Your Maid
George and Louise each hire a maid to replace Florence.

160- I've Still Got It
A receding hairline and midriff bulge have George convinced that he's no longer attractive. When Louise sends flowers and a nice note to his office, he mistakenly assumes they are from his secretary.

161- Florence Did It Different (Part One)
Just like the Bradys had to deal with Emma, The Jeffersons contend with their new maid.

162- Florence Did It Different (Part Two)
With her shot at a new career in cinders, Florence enthusiastically returns to The Jeffersons household expecting her old job back, only to find her shoes have been filled.

163- The House That George Built
Afraid of being forgotten, George is determined to die a legend and sets out to create The George Jefferson Museum.

164- A Whole Lot of Trouble
On her birthday, Louise is distraught over news that some cold-hearted monster plans to build a business on the site of the only neighborhood playground, but her distress turns to fury when she learns that this monster is George.

165- I've got A Secret
George gets the urge to read Louise's diary. Meanwhile, say goodbye to Mr. Bentley for a few seasons.

166- A Charmed Life
When George learns Whittendale despises him for his crass behavior, he enrolls himself in charm school.

167- Thammy the Thongwriter
Real-life songwriter Frank DeVol appears again as a jingle writer who stays in Bentley's apartment. George wants him to write a jingle, but the poor sap is having marital problems.

Look for: A young Victoria Jackson (Saturday Night Live).

168- I Spy
When Helen feels neglected, her behavior leads George to think she is having an affair.

169- Dog-Gone
George has another opportunity to make good with Mr. Whittendale by taking care of his dog. The dog is an unruly houseguest and, worse, gets into an accident.

170- Blazing Jeffersons
Bad news: an electrical fire devastates one of George's stores. Good news: he can collect insurance money by taking to court the person responsible for the wiring. Bad news: The person is Lionel.

171- Men of the Cloth
George is dead set against plans for Florence and her gospel group to sing at his granddaughter Jessica's baptism. When he learns that famed gospel singer Andrea Crouch is in town, he's determined to do anything to get her to sing in their place -- even if it means impersonating a reverend.

172- A Case of Self-Defense
When Lionel and Jenny's apartment gets broken into, George buys a gun.

Factoid: guest star Frank DeVol sang a song from Annie Get Your Gun on a Broadway compilation album.

173- My Wife, I Think I'll Keep Her
George's and Tom's sexist attitudes set them up for a lesson in equality from the indignant Louise and Helen: the women move in together and kick out the guys.

174- Guess who's not Coming to Dinner
The Jeffersons and the Willises plan a surprise party for Florence, but a misunderstanding causes her to think she is not invited and, worse that they expect her to serve the meal. There's a $500 bottle of wine involved and Marla Gibbs plays drunk.

175- The Strays (Part One)
George is set on revenge after he is mugged by a gang of female hoodlums, but trying to get even could be hazardous to his health.

176- The Strays (Part Two)
Louise's wedding ring could cost George his life when he vows to risk anything to get it back, including another encounter with the female gang who mugged and robbed him, in the conclusion of a special two-part story.

177- Jefferson's Greatest Hits
Florence's choir has attracted the ears of a smooth-talking record producer who tantalizes her with visions of fame, fortune and a recording session. When The Jeffersons sniff him out as a charlatan, they try to stop Florence from giving him $1200 to produce the album.

178- A Small Victory
Louise and Helen are convinced their efforts at the Help Center are useless, until a prostitute in trouble unknowingly becomes the one person who may be able to change their minds.

Guest Star(s): Lynne Moody, alum of such shows as Soap and Hill Street Blues, portrays the working girl. She also played Jenny Willis in an episode of All in the Family.

179- Lesson in Love
Florence slips into a state of depression convinced that she'll live the rest of her life as a single woman, until George comes to her rescue with some helpful methods on how to land a man. Her policeman date is played by Matlock's Kene Holliday, who also played a policeman on Carter Country.

180- Do Not Forsake Me, Oh, My Helen
Helen's luncheon invitation from an old beau leads jealous Tom into a fantasy episode about the Old West.
