208- Mission: Incredible (Part One)
George's efforts to teach Tom not to get swindled leads to, well, Tom getting swindled by con men. George's old Navy buddies bilk Tom for $15,000 he was gong to use for a down payment on a house. Tom fears Helen's wrath.

209-Mission: Incredible (Part Two)
Tom and George head to Los Angeles to recover the $15,000 stolen by con men. Helen and Louise are in pursuit. Look for character actor Jason Bernard (the boss on Herman's Head) as one of the con men.

210- Mission: Incredible (Part Three)
Jimmy's cousin plans the perfect scheme to retrieve Tom's $15,000 but three unexpected visitors complicate this conclusion of a three-parter.

211- I Do, I Don't
Unlikely counselor George pitches in and takes over a Help Center seminar for newlyweds, but his chauvinistic viewpoint of what makes a happy marriage puts Louise in an awkward position.

Guest Star(s): Helen Martin (Pearl on 227 and Wanda on Good Times) and Academy Award nominee David Paymer.

212- How Not to Marry a Millionaire
While accompanying a girlfriend on her man-hunting expedition to a posh New York City art gallery, Florence inadvertently bags a millionaire whose lavish gifts to her mask an ulterior motive.

213- And The Winner Is...
Louise appears to be a shoe-in for the Help Center's Volunteer of the Year Award, until her rival and the usual winner, Mrs. Van Morris, suddenly returns from her long vacation to make a big donation to the Center.

214- The Return of Bentley
Welcome Back, Bentley (Paul Benedict was away for two seasons). Bentley returns but cannot get his apartment back, thanks to Mr. Whittendale's having rented it to someone. George volunteers to help him -- until he discovers who it is.

215- The List
George made an unusual bet when he was younger: he and a friend each wrote a list of things they wanted to accomplish and wagered on who would finish first. In this episode, George receives a letter from said friend and goes about performing the next task on his list: getting even with a neighborhood bully.

Guest Star(s): Rosey Grier, who in this episode does NOT cry or sing It's All Right to Cry

216- Who's The Fairest
An unexpected turn of events in George's latest harebrained promotional gimmick -- the Miss Jefferson Cleaners' Beauty Pageant -- leaves him in a compromising position with Mr. Whittendale.

217- Father Christmas
Staying at home while Bentley and the women go Christmas caroling, George and Tom reminisce about their fathers on past Christmases.

218- What Makes Sammy Run?
All in the Family begat The Jeffersons, so it is fitting that one of the most famous visitors to the Bunker household, Sammy Davis Jr., moves across the hall from The Jeffersons.

219- Getty Back to Basiks
Louise tries to convince a young artist, whom George has hired to animate a TV commercial for Jefferson Cleaners, to return to school after she discovers he can't read or write.

220- The Command Post
Florence's life is in peril when she inadvertently steps into the line of fire during a police stakeout in The Jeffersons' apartment.

Look for: Stephen Furst, Animal House's Flounder, as well as Bernadette Birkett, who once provided the voice of Vera on Cheers.

221- Real Men Don't Dry Clean
Louise's and Helen's ebullient fascination with their rugged self-defense instructor taunts George and Tom into an outlandish hunting expedition in hopes of rekindling their wives' respect for their manliness.

222- Trading Places
Upset with George's incessant insensitivity, Louise drifts into a daydream where she trades personalities with her husband only to realize that it's easier to like George than to be like him.

223- My Guy, George
Florence cons George into managing the career of her singing soul sisters, but George's debut in the entertainment world is less than successful when he books the group in a red neck western bar.

Factoid: The Satin Sisters are played by real-life group Sister Sledge.

224- A New Girl in Town
Florence's elation quickly turns to concern when her naive 18-year-old cousin arrives for her first visit to the big city and announces her plan to stay permanently. Mud wrestling is involved.

225- Otis

227- George's Old Girl Friend
George is shocked to discover that an unexpected visit from an old girlfriend isn't just for old time's sake.

228- Honeymoon Hotel
When Tom and Helen return to their honeymoon hotel on their 30th anniversary, they discover that a lot has changed in three decades.

229- In the Chips
Jimmy (Garrett Morris) puts George into harm's way when he arrives with $50,000 worth of gambling chips and a collector thinking that Jimmy's name is "George Jefferson."

Factoid: This is the only episode in which Isabel Sanford did not appear.
