  176- The Strays (Part Two) *
Louise’s wedding ring could cost George his life when he vows to risk anything to get it back, including another encounter with the female gang who mugged and robbed him, in the conclusion of a special two-part story.

177- Jefferson’s Greatest Hits *
Florence’s choir has attracted the ears of a smooth-talking record producer who tantalizes her with visions of fame, fortune and a recording session. When the Jeffersons sniff him out as a charlatan, they try to stop Florence from giving him $1200 to produce the album.

178- A Small Victory *
Louise and Helen are convinced their efforts at the Help Center are useless, until a prostitute in trouble unknowingly becomes the one person who may be able to change their minds. Lynne Moody, an alum of such shows as Soap and Hill Street Blues, portrays the working girl. She also played Jenny Willis in an episode of All in the Family.

179- Lesson in Love
Florence slips into a state of depression convinced that she'll live the rest of her life as a single woman, until George comes to her rescue with some helpful methods on how to land a man. Her policeman date is played by Matlock’s Kene Holliday, who also played a policeman on Carter Country.

180- Do Not Forsake Me, Oh, My Helen
Helen’s luncheon invitation from an old beau leads jealous Tom into a fantasy episode about the Old West.

181- Laundry is a Tough Town (Part One)
Big Sky Cleaners, George’s biggest competitor, wants to buy George out but he refuses. The rival company plans a millionth-customer promotion. As the war escalates, Louise goes to settle things at Big Sky, only to become the millionth customer.

182- Laundry is a Tough Town (Part Two)
George has decided to accept his competitor’s offer to buy out Jefferson Cleaners and while he’s happily looking forward to spending more time at home, everyone else doesn't share his enthusiasm.

183- Anatomy of a Stain
When Tom gets his pants back from the cleaners with a stain on them, he requests George give him a refund. But George blames Tom for putting a candy bar his pants. They have their day on The People’s Court.

184- Social Insecurity
Florence goes on strike against George over her lack of a pension plan and his refusal to do anything about it. Louise, Helen and Tom soon join the picket line.

185- Charlie’s Angels
After rejecting an offer to invest in Charlie’s declining bar, George suggests a tantalizing idea that turns the business into gold, leaving George green with envy, especially when he discovers whom Charlie got as his new partner.

186- Here’s Johnny
George idolizes his old, out-of-town buddy, Johnny, but he and Louise mix like oil and water, especially when Johnny misinterprets Louise’s sarcasm as an invitation to move in. Johnny is played by an actor good at annoying characters: Johnny Brown, who played Bookman on Good Times.

187- A Date With Danger
George and Louise try to rescue Florence after they learn the suave and likable bachelor she’s out on a date with is a convicted murderer.

188- Death Smiles on a Dry Cleaner (Part One)
The fun-filled challenge of solving a make-believe murder awaits George, Louise and Florence aboard a suspenseful mystery cruise, but unexpectedly, the fictitious crime appears instead to be the real thing. Look for the Professor and Dr. Bombay! Russell Johnson and Bernard Fox appear, as does the hysterical Edie McClurg.

189- Death Smiles on a Dry Cleaner (Part Two)
All evidence of the mystery cruise murder points the finger of guilt toward one suspect, but super snoop George refuses to accept the obvious and pieces together other clues to substantiate his own theory.

190- Appointment in 8-B
What Ralph the Doorman hears could destroy the Jeffersons marriage when he jumps to the conclusion that George is cheating on Louise. This episode was filmed during the eighth season but not aired till the ninth.

191- Poetic Justice
George becomes the poet laureate of his building when some of his old romantic odes to Louise fall into outside hands, and a publisher expresses interest in his work.

192- How Now Dow Jones
Florence’s uncompromising attitude toward George undergoes a sudden turnabout when she and her friends risk their life savings and tap his investment sense in order to make a bundle in the stock market.

193- The Defiant Ones
Louise’s jealous curiosity reaches criminal proportions when she talks Helen into aiding and abetting her attempt to unlock a piece of George’s past that he’s hidden safely away in his office safe.

194- My Maid … My Wife
Florence is jealous of a friend who has become wealthy, so she poses as Louise while Louise poses as her maid.

195- Mr. Wonderful
George’s jealousy and big mouth get him into big trouble when he spills some of Tom’s secrets.

196- My Girl, Louise
Putting her pride aside, Louise makes a last-ditch effort to save the Help Center from financial ruin by asking for a donation from a former condescending employer.

197- Bodyguards Are People Too
Jenny is depressed over her fledging career as a fashion designer until George’s bodyguard displays an interest in more than just her sketches.

198- True Confessions
George and Louise have been berry, berry good to their foster son but are in for the surprise of their lives when he visits for the first time. Garrett Morris is ready for prime time in the guest spot.

199- Mr. Clean *
An overly confident George discovers that betting against Florence may not be the easy win he thought when he talks himself into a daring challenge to prove that he can do in three hours what takes her a full day.

200- The Good Life *
Everyone seems to be living the good life except for Florence, who spends a lot of money to go to an exclusive salon often frequented by celebrities. And just like she had trouble identifying Billy
Dee Williams, Florence has an almost run-in with Gladys Knight.
