different women to meet different men. One of the men turns out to be a
psychiatrist, who deems Florence as one of the worst cases he’s ever seen.

Louise’s Convention * There’s foul
play afoot when George tries to duck out of celebrating his wedding anniversary
with Louise and she tries to duck out of town to attend a convention. Look for The
Tracey Ullman Show’s Sam McMurray and the incomparable Sheryl Lee Ralph. 111- The
Freeze-in * When the heat
goes off in some of the apartments in the building, the Jeffersons, the
Willises, Florence and Mr. Bentley crowd into the Jeffersons’ heated apartment.

Announcement Jenny’s
pregnant, but Lionel wants to keep the news from George. Florence finds out and
lets the cat out of the bag.
113- Short
Story George is
chosen as The Midtown Small Businessman of the Year. Emphasis is on “small.”

Louise’s Old Boyfriend Louise is
afraid to see an old beau, so she sends Florence to impersonate her. The result
is a three-ring circus. With a clown and everything.

You See It, Now You Don't (Part One) Killer
rabbits! Peering through Bentley’s telescope on Hallowe’en night, Louise
witnesses what she thinks is a murder being committed by a giant rabbit, in the
first of a two-part story.
116- Now
You See It, Now You Don't (Part Two) Louise braves
what may be her last Hallowe’en ever when a murderer in a rabbit suit traps her
in her apartment and threatens her with a loaded carrot, in the conclusion of a
two-part story. Louise is saved by the chestnut of sitcom setups: constant
interruptions by the other characters.

Where’s Papa? The discovery
of an unfulfilled request in his father’s will leads George on an unusual
search to find his mother a gravemate.
118- The
Expectant Father The
Jeffersons and Willises are shocked when expectant father Lionel storms out of
the apartment to pursue a boyhood dream.

Joltin’ George “Joltin’
George” Jefferson reenters the world of boxing after helping to teach Marcus to
box. Look for The Electric Company’s Luis Avalos.
120- Baby
Love The ticking
of Florence’s biological clock rapidly increases when the family makes all of
the preparations for Jenny’s baby.

Louise vs. Florence Sparks fly
between Louise and Florence over nepotism and engraving (you’ll have to watch),
leaving George begging for Florence’s services and steering an important social
evening toward disaster.
122- Me
and Mr. G. George’s
bigotry rubs off on a troubled orphan whom Louise takes in for a week.
123- One
Flew into the Cuckoos' Nest George’s
attempts to get out of a painting party at the Willises get him into plenty of
trouble at a state mental hospital, where he goes crazy trying to convince
everyone that he’s sane.

Louise’s Setback Louise’s
excitement about a television documentary on her success with the suicide
hotline leads to a potentially deadly failure.

Brother Tom Tom turns to
George for lessons in how to be, well, not so white, when Helen’s high school
friends make Tom feel out of place in his own home.
