Ralph, the doorman at the apartment where the Jeffersons live, has a well-developed right hand. Not only does he open doors with it, but he constantly extends it in George Jefferson's direction. Ralph is a bit of a sycophant, and would sell his soul for a tip. The perfect foil for opportunistic George, Ralph lets his own greed get the better of him and dives into some of George’s wacky schemes.
