Yeardley Smith appears on season four of Hot in Clevelandas Margaret.

Yeardley was born on July 3, 1964 in Paris, France. Her family moved to Washington, D.C. where Yeardley was raised. She began acting when she was a child, and after graduating high school, she had an apprenticeship at the Arena Stage, a theater in Washington, D.C. Yeardley later moved to New York City and understudied, but later took over the role of "Debbie" in the play, The Real Thing. After she started to become well-known, she moved to California and landed roles in a few films.

Her breakout role came when she was cast as "Lisa Simpson" in The Simpsons shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. The shorts were later spun off into their own series of the same title. Yeardley stayed with the show and has been the voice of "Lisa Simpson" for over two decades. In 1992, she won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance. In addition to The Simpsons, Yeardley has had roles in numerous films and television shows, such as City Slickers, Jingle All the Way, New Year's Eve, Sesame Street, Dharma & Greg, Herman's Head, and Mad Men to name a few.
