Michael McMillian

Michael plays Joy's (Jane Leeves) biological son she placed for adoption when she was a teenager.

Michael McMillian also can be seen in HBO’s Emmy-Award winning show True Blood playing the openly gay vampire ‘Steve Newlin’. He starred in Beauty and the Briefcase opposite Hillary Duff and in Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes 2. In 2006, he joined the new TNT series Saved, playing a young Mormon paramedic. He starred as the gay teen Dorian Lagatos in the feature film Dorian Blues. He recurred as Henry Gibson on the WB television series What I like About You opposite Amanda Bynes and Jenny Garth.

His additional TV credits include 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, Firefly, and Miracles.

In addition to appearing on screen, Michael has a love for writing. He writes the True Blood comics and Akiva Goldsmith has optioned his original comic Lucid.

Michael graduated from Carnegie Melon in 2002 and currently lives in Los Angeles.
