Jay Harrington

We're pleased to welcome Jay to TV Land's Hot in Cleveland family this season in the recurring role of Alec, Melanie's (Valerie Bertinelli) professional colleague.

Jay is a proud graduate of Syracuse University's theater program, and spent several years on the stage in New York before moving to Los Angeles.

Recently, Jay was seen starring in the title role in the ABC comedy Better Off Ted, which ran for two seasons. In addition to recurring roles on Private Practice and Desperate Housewives, Jay starred in Fox’s The Inside and NBC’s Coupling. Other television credits include Harry’s Law, Burn Notice, Ghost Whisperer, Las Vegas, The Division, The Shield, Without A Trace and the Lifetime movie Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy. This past summer, he was seen starring in the Universal hit feature American Reunion. His other features credits include Sunny Side Up with Parker Posey, True Love, Partners, Whatever It Takes, and Anywhere But Here. He will also be heard in the upcoming animated feature A Monster in Paris, alongside Adam Goldberg and Catherine O'Hara.

He currently resides in Los Angeles and is an avid sports fan.
