George Hamilton guest stars on Hot in Cleveland as Robin.
George was born on August 12, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee. He acted in plays while attending Palm Beach High School, and won awards for his performances. George moved to Los Angeles in the 1950s and was soon put under contract by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). His first lead role was in the 1959 film, Crime & Punishment, USA. Other films under MGM he made were Where the Boys Are, Light in the Piazza, and Home from the Hill. George has been awarded a Golden Globe for "Most Promising Newcomer," and was nominated for "Best Foreign Actor" by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. George also played Hank Williams in 1964's "Your Cheatin' Heart," and played Evel Knievel in 1971s "Evel Knievel."
In addition to acting in films and being incredibly bronzed, George has had many television roles. He had a recurring role on Dynasty as Joel Abrigore. He guest starred on shows like, Columbo, Diagnosis Murder, NewsRadio, Nash Bridges, and Las Vegas. George currently resides in Palm Beach, Florida.
