TV Land welcomes Ed Begley Jr. to Hot in Cleveland in the guest star role of Yogi. This is the third time that he has appeared in a TV Land Original. Previous appearances include the reality series, Harry Loves Lisa (2010) as well as Back to the Grind (2007).

Begley was born on September 16, 1949 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Buffalo, New York, but the family moved back to California in 1962 where he finished high school and later graduated from Los Angeles Valley College. The work of his Academy Award-winning father, Ed Begley, inspired him to become an actor.

He first gained prominence as Dr. Victor Ehrlich in the 1980s in the medical TV series St. Elsewhere. He earned six Emmy nominations during the show's six-year run. Since his time on St. Elsewhere, he has appeared on numerous television shows, including Roseanne, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Columbo, The Magic School Bus, The Nanny, Six Feet Under, 7th Heaven, CSI: Miami, Rizzoli & Isles and his own reality series Living with Ed.

Begley also has several feature film credits. He has appeared in Protocol, Get Over It, Joey, Anthrax, Desolation Sound, Relative Strangers, For Your Consideration and Pineapple Express.

In addition to his on-screen work, Begley is an avid environmentalist. He currently lives with wife Rachelle and their daughter, Hayden, in California. He also has two children from his previous marriage.
