Craig Ferguson was born on May 17, 1962 in Glasgow, Scotland. At the age of 16, he dropped out of high school and began an apprenticeship to be an electronics technician at a Scotland factory. After a brief stint as a punk rocker, Craig focused his time on becoming an established actor in the U.K. He appeared in many productions, such as The Rocky Horror Show, Bad Boy Johnny and the Prophets of Doom, and The Odd Couple.
In 1994, Craig moved to Los Angeles, California. His first U.S. role was as Logan McDonough on the sitcom Maybe This Time, which starred Betty White. His breakout role didn't come until 1996 when he was cast on The Drew Carey Show as Drew Carey's boss, Mr. Wick. Soon after the end of The Drew Carey Show in 2004, it was announced that Craig would take over Craig Kilborn's job as host of The Late Late Show. In addition to being an actor and comedian, Craig is also a successful writer. His books include Between the Bridge and the River and American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures of an Unlikely Patriot.
Craig currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his family.
