Cameron Mathison was born August 25, 1969 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from McGill University in Quebec in 1993 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, Mathison got work as a male model. Modeling work quickly evolved into acting roles, and he made his film debut in 1998's 54. It was around that same time that Mathison also landed the role of Ryan Lavery on All My Children, a part that earned him two daytime Emmy nominations.
In addition to his work on All My Children, Mathison continued to enjoy a busy television career with roles on CSI, JAG, The Drew Carey Show, Hope and Faith, and Desperate Housewives.. In 2009 he added correspondent to his list of credits, and regularly files reports for Good Morning America.
Mathison is married to Vanessa Arevaio and has two children. He lives in Los Angeles.
