Alan Ruck

TV Land welcomes Alan Ruck to the Hot in Cleveland family in the guest role of Reverend Lare, the priest tasked with the baptism of Wilbur, Joy's (Jane Leeves) grandson and Owen's ( Michael McMillian) son.

Alan Ruck was born July 1, 1956 in Cleveland Ohio. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.F.A in drama, and began his career in the Chicago theater scene. From there he made his film debut in the 1983 drama Bad Boys. Ruck continued to act on the silver screen, and in 1986, he got his big break with his role of Cameron Frye, Matthew Broderick's neurotic best friend in the cult-hit Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Ruck's career continued to flourish in the 90s with roles on hit television programs Spin City and Mad About You.

Ruck's more recent television credits include roles on Scrubs, The Ghost Whisperer, Psych, CSI, NCIS, Rules of Engagement, and Bunheads. In addition to his work in television, Alan has also performed in a number of successful Broadway productions, most notably as Leo Bloom in the Mel Brooks musical, The Producers.

Alan is married to actress Mireille Enos. He has three children, and splits his time in New York and Los Angeles.
