Debi Mazar

We are happy to welcome Debi Mazar to the cast of TV Land's original series Happily Divorced in the role of Jan, Peter's (John Michael Higgins) new roommate and Fran doppelganger.

Deborah Mazar was born August 13th, 1964 in Queens, New York. She began her career as a break dancer, appearing in five of Madonna's music videos, including "Papa Don't Preach," "Justify My Love" and "Music."

When Debi is not dancing, she is busy in roles on the big and small screens. In the 90s, Mazar enjoyed the small but celebrated role of Sandy in Martin Scorsese's film Goodfellas. She also appeared with Drew Barrymore in Batman Forever and made a name for herself as a television actress on the hit TV drama LA Law.

In 2005, Debi appeared as Fran's Cousin Merrill on Living With Fran.

Mazar's more recent credits include roles in Malcolm X, Singles, Working, NYPD Blue, CSI Miami, Friends and The Wild Thornberries. She has also appeared on Ugly Betty, Law and Order: SVU, Castle, Entourage, Dancing With The Stars and lent her voice to the popular video game franchise, Grand Theft Auto.

Currently, Mazar can be seen on the Cooking Channel's Extra Virgin, a program which chronicles her love for Tuscan cuisine and her marriage to Italian countryman Gabriele Corcos.

Mazar makes splits her time between New York, Los Angeles, and Italy, and has a daughter with husband Gabriele.
