BETTY LYNN
Barney's
gal, Thelma Lou, began her career as a supporting player in feature
films. Beginning in the late '40s, Lynn appeared in a number of college-themed
films including Mother Is a Freshman and Father Was a Fullback, as
well as the 1950 feature Cheaper by the Dozen. Betty has many guest
roles to her credit, including My Three Sons, Little House on the
Prairie, Matlock and a recurring part as Miss Lee on Family Affair.
Lynn retired from acting shortly after appearing in the reunion movie
Return to Mayberry.
