Rebecca is troubled by a recurring dream in which she willingly
submits to Sam's smooth moves. Eventually she gives him a
kiss and promises to give him a chance. However, their embrace
is interrupted by recent Forbes cover boy Robin Colcord.
# 170 - "The Improbable Dream, Part II"
When Robin Colcord, longtime object of Rebecca's fantasies,
reveals she is the sole reason for his visit to Cheers, Rebecca
forgets her promise to give Sam a chance and goes to California
on a date with Robin.
# 171 - "A Bar is Born"
Sam decides to buy and renovate a bar. Robin Colcord relishes
the idea himself, talks Sam out of the purchase, and makes
a huge profit for himself.
# 172 - "How To Marry a Mailman"
Cliff's postal-worker girlfriend Margaret returns from Canada
and asks him to marry her. Cliff is struck blind and hysterrical
due to fear of commitment and Margaret returns to Canada.
# 173 - "The Two Faces of Norm"
Sam sells his Corvette to further his goal of buying back
Cheers. Meanwhile, Norm hires a crew to help him in his booming
painting business.
# 174 - "The Stork Brings A Crane"
During an elaborate celebration for the 100th anniversary
of Cheers, Lilith goes into labor.
# 175 - "Death Takes a Holiday on Ice"
Carla gets word that Eddie was killed in a freak accident
with a Zamboni ice machine. At the funeral, Carla goes from
grief to anger when she discovers Eddie was a bigamist.
# 176 - "For Real Men Only"
Rebecca coordinates a retirement party. Frasier kidnaps his
son to "save" him from his bris.
# 177 - "Two Girls for Every Boyd"
The guys at Cheers challenge each other to a beard-growing
contest. Kelly finds Woody practicing a love scene with a
cast mate.

# 178 - "The Art of the Steal"
Norm tries to teach Woody the principles of economics and
inflation with a game of Monopoly. Rebecca plans an intimate
evening with Robin at her apartment. However, Sam shows up
instead and sets off a security system that locks them in
for the night.
# 179 - "Feeble Attraction"
Robin Colcord has a desk delivered to Rebecca as a gift and
hints at the possibility of a ring hidden somewhere. After
Norm's business slows, he is forced to fire his secretary
who then reveals her love for him.
# 180 - "Sam Ahoy"
When Woody asks for some time off, the Cheers gang learns
of his dedicated efforts to help those who are less fortunate.
Meanwhile, Sam is determined to buy back Cheers and convinces
Robin to allow him to sail his boat in the upcoming Boston
Harbor regatta for a shot at the $10,000 in prize money.
# 181 - "Sammy and the Professor"
Carla panics when she finds out that she's to be audited by
the IRS and asks Norm for help. Rebecca's favorite professor
sleeps with Sam.
# 182 - "What is Cliff Clavin"
Cliff meets his idol, Alex Trebec, when he appears on his
favorite show "Jeopardy". Sam nears hysteria when
he discovers someone has taken his little black book and is
calling numbers pretending to be him.

After a gala event, with Sam attending as a third wheel, Robin
and Rebecca drive off alone. The morning after, Rebecca seems
ecstactic--as if she and Robin finally slept together. Yet,
later that day, Sam finds Robin with another woman.

Rebecca finds Robin in his limo with another woman. She is
furious, but decides to stay with him.
# 185 - "Woody or Won't He?"
Cheers receives a mechanical bull. Kelly's mother propositions
Woody.
# 186 - "Severe Crane Damage"
Lilith appears on a talk show to promote her first book and
Frasier and Sam end up as guests.
# 187 - "Indoor Fun With Sammy and Robby"
Rebecca's plans for a romantic day with Robin are ruined when
he opts to spend the day in a game of one-upmanship with Sam.
# 188 - "Fifty-Fifty Carla"
Carla is consumed with guilt when she hides the money from
her late husband's estate from his other widow. Woody bares
all in a production of Hair.
# 189 - "Bar Wars III: Return of Tecumseh"
Cheer's Indian Tecumseh is missing and they blame their old
rivals at Gary's Old Towne Tavern for the loss.
# 190 - "Loverboy"
Woody is upset when he learns that his beloved Kelly is going
to Europe to study for a year. Woody and Kelly become engaged.
# 191 - "The Ghost and Mrs. Lebec"
Carla is convinced that Eddie's ghost disapproves of her dating.
She consults a medium.
# 192 - "Mr. Otis Regrets"
Sam tells Rebecca he's bedded Robin's French girlfriend and
raves about her bedroom skills. He tries to convince Rebecca
that if he can teach her the woman's techniques she'll win
Robin back.
# 193 - "Cry Hard"
Sam, Norm and Woody discover that Robin's computer is illegally
receiving classified information regarding Rebecca's corporation.
Rebecca plans to turn him in, but when he proposes marriage,
she accepts.
# 194 - "Cry Harder"
Sam tells the corporation that owns Cheers that Robin was
stealing information from them. In a show of gratitude, they
offer to sell Cheers to Sam for $1. Robin flees the country
and Rebecca finds herself in Sam's arms. Robin returns to
find Sam and Rebecca in bed together.
