Diane acts as theatrical coach to a man named Andy who discovered
a love of acting while in prison.

who can't believe that anyone normal and nice would be attracted
to her. She tests him at every turn.

but when Sam explains that he and Diane are a couple, he sets

when he manages a little-league team.

Sam is so excited to receive some coveted boxing tickets from
Diane that he utters the crucial statement - "I love
you." Having taken it very seriously, she is appalled

Diane's dearest friend moves to town and Diane is eager to
have her feel at home and hit it off with Sam. However, she
tries to get a bit too cozy with Sam.

Kramer decides to leave $100,000 to the gang at Cheers.
# 35 - "Battle of the Exes"
The sleazy Nick Tortelli brings Loretta, his statuesque bride-to-be,

not to let him get he best of her, Carla decides to attend
his wedding with the biggest hunk she can find--Sam.
# 36 - "No Help Wanted"
Against his better judgement, Sam hires Norm as an accountant
for Cheers.
# 37 - "Coachie Makes Three"
Coach is oblivious to the fact that he's interfering with
Sam and Diane's love life. Sam and Diane decide the Coach
needs a woman and arrange a double date.
# 38 - "Cliff's Rocky Moment"
Cliff backs out of a fight with a bar thug, but finds a unique
way to save face.

Diane is determined to stop Sam from going.
# 41 - "Coach Buries A Grudge"
A grief-stricken Coach plans a wake for an old baseball buddy,
but sadness turns to anger when he learns that the pal had
once propositioned his wife.
# 42 - "Norman's Conquest"
Norm's attractive new client seems to be coming on to him
and the anxiety-stricken accountant decides he must succumb
to prove his manhood to the guys in the bar.
# 43 - "I'll Be Setting You, Part I"
Diane is livid to learn that Sam agreed to be interviewed
by a Boston magazine as one of the city's 10 most eligible
bachelors. Semenko, an eccentric and brilliant artist aims
to paint Diane’s "tortured soul" and sees Sam as
the cause of it.
