Carla's husband, ex-hockey star Eddie, has found a job as a penguin in a traveling ice skating show. Frasier enrolls Carla in a workshop to overcome her fear of flying. Cheers is critiqued by a local personality notorious for giving bad reviews, he takes Rebecca to dinner, gives Cheers a good review and everyone assumes that she slept with him.

When Woody and Sam ask for raises, Rebecca tells them that raises are out of the question because the bar is losing money. They come up with the idea of holding a raffle, which does bring a lot of new customers. Meanwhile, Frasier buys Lilith an abstract painting for their one-month anniversary.
