Elliot Carlin is probably Bob's most notable patient. He is a financially successful, morally bankrupt bundle of neuroses. He appears to suffer from both low self-esteem and narcissism simultaneouslyno small feat for a man in a toupee and elevator shoes.
Mrs. Bakerman has been attending group for several years, mostly for the company. Her only real problem seems to be that the afghan she's knitting is long enough by the end of the show's run to circumnavigate the globe.
Michelle Nardo is the apple of her father's eye. Though she loves him very much, he just won't listen to her. She wants to get his attention so badly that she will go to any length, including puppetry.
Mr. Peterson is Doris Peterson's hapless, high-strung, henpecked husband. His sole reason to attend group is to learn how to stand up to Doris. Of course he is only allowed to attend the group with her approval.
Mr. Gianelli has been bullying people his whole life. His conflict is that fundamentally he's a really nice guy. He is so nice that the group decides to throw him a party. Mr. Gianelli is unable to attend the party, however, because unfortunately he is dead at the time.
