Hepzibah, Empress and High Priestess of all witches and warlocks, has taken up residence at the Stephens' home. The purpose of her visit is to observe the first and only marriage of a witch and a mortal. Hepzibah's decision to drum Samantha out of the witches' world is postponed.

Darrin and Samantha fly to Salem. Once there, while on a guided tour of the House of Seven Gables, Darrin is followed by a brass bedwarmer, one of the historical antiques of the house. It eventually causes a controversy when it hides in the back of Darrin's rental car.

Samantha and Darrin have been followed back to their hotel by a stow-away bedwarmer. Darrin is arrested for stealing it, causing he and the bedwarmer to be locked away. Samantha tries to solve the mystery.

Darrin and Samantha, in Salem for the Witches' Council, have planned a sightseeing trip. Larry calls for Darrin's help with a new account -- Barrow's umbrellas -- in nearby Boston. Samantha is suddenly summoned to a special meeting and must go. Serena appears and decides, much to Darrin's dismay, to accompany him on the sightseeing tour.

The Stephen's trip to Salem, MA is interrupted again when Larry asks for Darrin's to land a new client who is a Revolutionary War buff. Larry buys what he believes is a reproduction of a Paul Revere teapot. Darrin again refuses to do business while on vacation, so Larry demands his teapot back, setting off a chain of events that eventually summon Paul Revere himself.

At a witches' meeting in Salem, Samantha runs into Waldo, a handsome, young warlock who has been in love with her since childhood. Lovesick Waldo uses his powers to conjure up a Samantha of his own. While sightseeing with Darrin, Larry sees Waldo and the Samantha-double engaged in intimate conversation.

The Stephens cut their Salem vacation short and fly home "witches' style" after Samantha is ordered by the executive coven not to appear in public with Darrin. Esmeralda casts a spell that will send Samantha back to Salem before the coven takes action against her.

Endora casts a spell that turns Darrin into a 73-year-old man. Samantha and "older" Darrin go to a movie so that no one will see old Darrin. However, Larry and Louise spot Samantha at the refreshment stand and follow her to the car. Samantha introduces her date as Grover Stephens, Darrin's grandfather.

Tabitha and her friend Lisa want very much to be sisters. But they were told by a girl in the park that they can't be, because they are not the same color. Endora comes up with a campaign for the Bobbins Bon-Bon account called, "Bobbins' Mother-in-Law of the Year!" Bobbins is enraptured with Endora's idea and with Endora. His spell-cast attraction to Samantha's mother makes him insist that Endora be used in their TV commercials.

The Kravitz' nephew Sidney tells Tabitha there's no good fairy. Samantha explains that if Tabitha really believes, the good fairy will come. Darrin doesn't believe it until he sees Mary, the Good Fairy -- complete with wings and magic wand -- come out of Tabitha's room.

Gladys Kravitz sees Mary (the former Good Fairy) leaving the Stephens' house and invites her in for some brandy. Mary becomes inebriated and is arrested. Darrin bails her out, but when Samantha takes Mary upstairs for a nap, Larry and a client arrive.
