Elly May Clampett is a tough-as-nails tomboy trapped in the body of a blonde bombshell. Though her true passions are wrasslin' with Jethro and raising her critters--Elly has a zoo full of pets including cats, dogs, skunks and a chimp--Elly's outer beauty attracts several Beverly Hills beaus, including Sonny Drysdale (the layabout stepson of banker Milburn Drysdale), actor Dash Riprock, and Navy frogman Mark Templeton. Elly handles all the attention from her eager-beaver suitors just fine, but it's clear she'd prefer to spend her time with REAL animals.
