Red
Bar is Magenta's older sister who was a dancer for many years
on Broadway. After an unfortunate accident involving a marshmallow,
a stick and an entire container of lighter fluid, Red Bar could
no longer dance and, bereft of her life's passion, sank into
a deep depression. She remained in her studio apartment for
many weeks living solely on saltines and diet cream soda. Magenta
Bar held an intervention that changed Red Bar's life forever
as she was finally convinced to get cable TV where she was exposed
to Nick @ Nite and TV Land. At this point, Bars & Tones
was practically a done deal for the networks and she wanted
to be a part of it! Performing was in her blood and to be on
screen along side her sister was all the inspiration she needed
to carry on.
