Green
Bar met White Bar on a flight to Chicago where White Bar was
going to pitch Bars & Tones to an independent station.
After two packages of Honey-Roasted peanuts and enough club
soda to drown a platypus, White Bar convinced Green Bar to give
up his life as a money-hungry yes-man in order to bring colors
and sound to millions of viewers' television sets. At the end
of the flight, legend has it, Green Bar walked off with the
non-complimentary airline earphones only to learn they were
shoddily made.
