Due to their rebellious, rough and tumble nature, Yellow Bar and his older brother, White Bar, were referred to by kids in their neighborhood as "the rotten eggs." Thus when Yellow Bar originally learned of White Bar's plan to create Bars & Tones, he accused White Bar of going all soft and corporate, like some video test version of the Stones. To quell his opposition, Yellow Bar was summarily hypnotized, brainwashed and then signed on as the group's second bar on screen. In addition to playing this dastardly trick in order to get Yellow Bar on board, White Bar borrowed his Squeeze "Singles" album and never returned it. |
