Tones
was the final addition to Bars & Tones. He had known
White Bar and Gray Bar from their rockin' high school days,
during which they had all collaborated on specialized noises
with their instruments. Tones is a master of many musical instruments
and can make various alerting sounds by manipulating guitar
strings, piano keys and even trumpet valves. Legend has it that
he even joined forces with Eddie Van Halen for his solo hit
"Eruption" although Tones name was never credited on the album.
