Gloria
is part of a new breed of women. She is not quite a feminist,
yet she is not a traditional subservient female either. Gloria
tries to be strong, but is often a little more vulnerable than
she cares to admit. She is a working woman, who has opted to
help support her husband, Michael, through college, knowing
that it is what is best for their future. Like her husband,
Gloria is politically aware, and leans to the left of the political
spectrum. She is at the same time, Archie's "little girl." Because
Gloria and Michael live under Archie's roof, it is Gloria's
responsibility to act as a mediator between right-wing Archie
and her politically opposite husband. |
