Rob Reiner
Son of comic actor Carl Reiner, Rob Reiner first appeared on TV in the 1960s, often in roles of hippies and bikers on The Beverly Hillbillies and The Partridge Family. In addition to appearing before the camera in shows like That Girl and Gomer Pyle, Reiner also punched the clock as a writer on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. With All in the Family, Reiner received fame and recognition in the form of two Emmy Awards -- in 1974 and 1978 for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy. Reiner portrayed Archie's "meathead" son-in-law, Mike Stivic. After leaving All in the Family, Reiner turned towards directing and producing, helming such modern classics as This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, The American President, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men and The Princess Bride. Reiner also takes the occasional part in front of the camera, including in feature films The First Wives Club, Sleepless in Seattle and Primary Colors. He also did a voice-over on an episode of Frasier.
